Territory Sales Representative

 Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Sales Representative to work in the Denver Metro and Colorado Front Range territory. Responsible for advancing and securing sales in the market, performs functions to secure new accounts, merchandise and service the needs of the existing sales accounts within the assigned territory. The position requires a self-motivated, organized, energetic, and creative person with beverage sales and/or beverage merchandising experience. Existing relationships in the market is preferred.


Brand Overview 

OliKo is a new breed of better-for-you ginger based beverages helping to reshape the drink market through the use of functional, good-for-you ingredients and centuries old fermentation techniques. 


Duties

  • Strong sales drive and tactics. Creating  leads, cold calling and follow ups.

  • Contacting buyers using different channels (phone, email, in-person).

  • Maintenance of sales territory with bi-weekly physical account check-ins.

  • Perform in-store demos and other sales/marketing related events.

  • Complete knowledge of OliKo products including: pitch, SKU’s, benefits, production, competition, uses etc.

  • Responsible for merchandising activities as a point of servicing accounts. Talking to buyers to gain reorders, better product placement, secondary placement, managing promotions and more.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience, beverage sales preferred.

  • Excellent selling, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Professional demeanor in working with coworkers, distributors, retail reps and consumers.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and own a vehicle. Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.

  • Ability to cover and drive the current territory of accounts. Colorado Front Range.

  • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds.


Pay Structure

Competitive salary + commission based pay. 

Car allowance and flexible hours.




On-Site Market Staff

Position Overview

OliKo Ginger Beer is seeking an energetic and outgoing individual to showcase our products at local farmers markets, events and store demos. Enjoy a vibrant and buzzing workplace environment set in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. Farmers markets take place every Saturday in Boulder, most Sundays in Denver and alternating weekdays for other demos and events. 

This position is part time.


Details

  • Boulder County Farmers Markets (BCFM) start early, 8am sharp. Market employees will need to have our booth set up and ready to go. Saturday markets run from 8am to 2:30pm, Wednesday markets are from 4pm to 8pm. Expect 45 minutes for set up and break down plus commute times to and from the Longmont warehouse.

  • In-store demos are typically 4 hours and either run 10am - 2pm or 3pm to 7pm. They are a great opportunity to showcase OliKo products to local grocery shoppers. In-store demos require a positive attitude, big smile and strong communication skills. We want anyone and everyone to try our product.


Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate can work every market from April 2 to October 30th.

  • Must be sociable, willing to talk to market/store guests about Oliko Ginger Beer and its products, good with task management (our booth line can get long and it will just be you to handle it.)

  • Must be willing to work 8+ hour shifts with no defined break. You will have busy times and slow times.

  • Own a car (hatchback, truck, SUV) and be willing to transport all required gear.

  • Have a valid driver's license and be able to meet state car insurance requirements.

  • Have a smartphone for use as a POS system for credit card purchases

  • Be able to move heavy equipment and gear (40 - 50 pounds).

Wages

$180 per market or daily event. 

$120 per demo
